It is with great pleasure and excitement  that I introduce Ethnic Online’ s newest staff member, Jennifer Davis Cain,  the executive director of Ethnic Online’ s Career Center.   Jennifer was an easy choice because of her natural passion for the discipline of human resources.  Jennifer is the president of Human Resources Solutions, LLC, an online consulting company whose motto is, “We put your essential HR functions at your fingertips.”   Jennifer has over twenty years of experience in the field of human resources, and we are excited to have her lead and develop our Career Center!

What will Jennifer provide- starting with the July issue of Ethnic Online?

Jennifer will be presenting information and resources for both job seekers and organizations.  Her goal is to develop a meeting place under the Career Center banner, where job seekers and organizations will have an open and inviting place to network and connect.  Organizations looking for a reliable source of ethnic professionals to fill key positions throughout their institutions will have a place to find qualified talent to fill those positions.  Jennifer understands- bringing qualified ethnic job seekers and growing organizations together makes good business sense.

Job Seekers!

Job seekers know that organizations which strategically place their job opportunities with Ethnic Online are organizations with vision. These are organizations that understand the value of placing their job opportunity with Ethnic Online and recognize the competitive edge that a diverse workforce brings to the market place.  These organizations are also known as “employers of choice.”

At the Career Center, under the Jobseeker tab, our job seekers will be able to explore job opportunities, career fair information, helpful career tips and relevant information from the HR Support Center.  Jennifer will be highlighting up-and-coming ethnic professionals in her “From Here to There” column.  Jennifer’s List will highlight books to get job seekers on the right career path.  These books provide job seekers with career related insight, knowledge, products and services that speak to ethnic professionals.

Corporate Corner!

Organizations looking for a reliable source of ethnic professionals to fill key positions throughout their institution will have a place to post jobs and connect with qualified talent.  Jennifer Davis Cain, executive director of Ethnic Online’s Career Center, understands that bringing job seekers and organizations together makes good business sense.

At Ethnic Online’s Career Center, under the Corporate Cornertab, organizations will appreciate the array of employment law information and updates under the HR Support Centertab. The HR Support Center will be filled with articles and information needed to run a successful business.  Under the Corner Office tab, Jennifer will be highlighting leaders of industries and organizations who embrace the true meaning of diversity. The HR Confidential tabis where the HR community meets and mingles to share concerns, resources, get answers to questions, highlight HR events, network with peers, and share victory and war stories!  Last, but certainly not least, there’s the Jennifer’s List   tab that will highlight a list of Jennifer’s personal favorites from books to software, and other products or services for HR professionals and business leaders.

Ethnic Online’s goal is to be a resource on many levels to our dedicated readers and partners.  As the needs of our audience grow, Ethnic Online remains dedicated and accepts the challenges and rewards of meeting the needs of our readership and partners.

One of the areas that Ethnic Online has been charged with expanding is our career center.  After all, we are New England’s Premier Magazine for Ethnic Professionals!  As the Publisher and Founder of Ethnic Online, I want you to know that I hear you.

Please join me in welcoming Jennifer Davis-Cain to the Ethnic Online team!
