Calendar of EventsQuarterly “Magazine Release” Event! This quarterly event will kick off the “release” of every Ethnic Online magazine. Ethnic professionals and students from around New England will gather and be introduced to the amazing “Ethnic Gems” and “Ethnic Gems in the Making” and learn of the key articles and stories in each issue. Corporations will be on hand branding their talent opportunities, products/services, and community commitment. An event not to miss! (ask about sponsorship opportunities) Annual “Ethnic Holiday Party!” (January) This event promises to be the crowning event to bring the year to an end while preparing for the next. The evening will feature “like-minded professionals” together for powerful networking, entertainment, and dancing—all while serving worthy causes, as partial proceeds will go to local charitable organizations, such as food banks, shelters, battered women’s services, and organizations for the less fortunate in the New England area. (ask about sponsorship opportunities) “Webb Awards” Ethnic Achievement Awards (September) Ethnic Online’s annual “Webb Awards” celebration will kick off in 2012; it will serve as a hallmark program to recognize the best and brightest Ethnic achievers in New England. Honorees will represent a diverse workforce—from business owners to corporate executives spanning industries from media, entertainment, and fashion to medicine, science, and financial services. Honorees will be selected based on a palpable display of excellence in business, passion for achieving higher goals, and commitment to their community.
