Well-equipped with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Emmanuel College and later earned her Masters from Simmons University Darla is well qualified and takes pride in being a successful first generation college graduate, knowing that there is much more to be accomplished.

With a professional track record, having served as President, National Black MBA Boston Chapter, Director of National Diversity Recruitment and Strategic Partnerships at City Year, (Interim) Director of Admissions/Recruitment for Simmons University, as well as roles with Akamai Technologies, PRTM Management Consulting, and Tufts University; there is no doubt Darla is equipped to move D & I issues forward.
Darla is now moving forward full steam ahead! She joined the Talent Acquisition team at Reebok in 2018, where her impact was quickly acknowledged as she was very instrumental in launching Reebok’s first POC ERG, recruiting members, securing executive sponsorship and advocating for budget. The Founder and Diversity Consultant at DeGrace Group, her organization is known for partnering with national non-profits and government agencies to build sustainable diversity recruitment and retention solutions.
The pride of New Bedford, Massachusetts, yet growing up in Cambridge, we are reminded that Darla’s mom served as her very first role model. When not out making a difference in the world of diversity and inclusion you can find Darla experiencing the joys of motherhood to a 9 year old daughter along with serving on multiple Non-Profit boards which has been the hallmark of Darla’s commitment to service.
